Carrie Hill leads CHill Consulting Agency using over 20 years of experience in strategic Public Relations (PR).
Carrie is known for building brands through authentic partnerships, genuine stories, and meaningful community engagement. She is a mother of three children, loves to play guitar, and believes in the power of a good hat.
Her work spans many brands and industries, including Crucial Learning, Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, Harvesting Happiness Talk Radio, globally renowned Absolute Motivation author James Dixon, and New York Times best-selling author Steven Kotler.
That’s not all—Carrie has worked to move the needle forward on nonprofit missions such as Saprea.org, the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Salt Lake County, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Guitars4Vets.
Carrie also serves on the advisory board for Promise2Live.org and co-founded InPowered, a program helping divorced single mothers re-enter the workforce. She even mentors PR talent at iHub by providing PR training and is known for her roles as a speaker, connector, and community advocate. Since 2006, Carrie’s strategies have generated nearly $50M in advertising value through thought leadership, website rebrands, and targeted media placements.
Carrie has had the opportunity to work with many unique clients and nonprofit organizations. Through this work, she’s learned the value of being blessed and blessing others through mindfulness and intentional kindness. Her approach to serving clients is rooted in collaboration—she works as a genuine partner to turn clients’ visions into reality.
Collaboration, in Carrie’s view, requires kindness, openness, and honesty to be successful. These principles are embodied in the Build Then Bless model, which focuses the lens on helping others to become the best humans possible, whether at work, at home, or in the community.
“Build Then Bless represents a world of incredible experiences where culture is transformed into caring authentically for one another. We all have to live in the world together. We are all important. Together, we can build one another up and bless each other as we grow.”
Corporate kindness holds a special place in Carrie’s heart. A few years ago, she worked for a company in a role she loved. During a tough financial period for her family, she expressed her concern about making Christmas special that year to a colleague.
When Carrie came into the office the next morning, there was $500 in an envelope on her desk. Although her colleague said she wasn’t responsible, she knew her thoughtfulness had sparked the giving machine in the office and blessed her and her family’s lives that year.
Carrie will never forget the impact of that special experience: “More than anything, it was the kindness, mindfulness, and care of my personal journey as a member of the team that truly touched my heart.”
Carrie has also been deeply blessed by her children who go out of their way to leave messages, send texts, and show kindness to those around them. Being mindful of others has taught her children to become evolved critical thinkers and use emotional intelligence in each decision.
Now, anytime Carrie has the opportunity, she pays it forward. Her children are “brilliant examples of what it means to be part of the human tribe and to look out for one another”, and the thoughtfulness of her workplace has inspired her to extend the same exact authentic care to others.
“Return With Honor in Everything You Do.”
